 Impetigo in Children

Impetigo results in a rash that looks like raised, swollen, itchy & oozing red sores. It typically occurs near the mouth & nose but sometimes may involve other areas of the body. This is a “bacterial skin infection”; commonly occurs in toddlers and children. Caused by a bacteria known as Staphylococcus Aureus and Streptococcus Pyogenes !!!

To remove the post-impetigo marks you may use different remedial measures, mentioned below:-

# Apply Manuka Honey over the affected skin lesions for 20 minutes & rinse afterwards with warm water.

*Purified Aloe Vera Gel, may be applied twice a day.

*Apply a used cooled “chamomile tea bag”, directly on the affected skin for 20 to 25 minutes, morning and by late evening.

*Grapefruit Seed in liquid extract form; dilute it in water & then apply the mixture topically to the impetigo sores.

*Pure High Quality Turmeric Powder to be mixed in distilled water, to make a paste and apply over the affected skin areas.
